For those people who want to finish their own quilts, we rent our Longarm Quilting machine, our Grace Q’nique 21Pro stitch regulated machine. You can either complete your quilt with free-motion/ruler work or you can use the computerised system.
You can finish a quilt the size of a doll quilt up to a king-size spread.

Beginners Long Arm Workshop
This is a two-hour introductory workshop you will learn:
1.How to prepare and load all three quilt layers onto the long arm frame
2.Thread and operate the long arm machine,
3.Adjust the tension
4.I will show you how to align and stitch out an edge-to-edge design.
All supplies are included.

Long Arm Rental
Once you have completed your Beginners Long Arm Workshop you will be able to rent my Grace Q’nique 21Pro long arm machine either by the hour or by the day to complete your own quilts.
You should be able to quilt a full or queen-sized quilt in approximately four or five hours using the computer assistance but free motion/rulers will take much longer.
All sessions are fully supervised and include a new needle and a single, solid coloured thread of your choice.
There are additional charges for speciality threads and wadding.
You will also need to bring your quilt top and enough wadding and backing fabric that is 4inches wider on each side compared to the quilt top.
For example, if your quilt top is 60″ x 60″, we will need both your backing and wadding to be at least 68″ x 68″.
Rental Cost.

After the first 2 hours charging will be in 30min increments
Computer Assisted work.
£20.00 per hour, minimum 2 hours rental
After the first 2 hours charging will be in 30min increments
Quilt Basting Only.

How much does longarm quilting machine rental cost?
Rental is either by the hour at £15 for free motion/ruler work or £20 using the computerised system.
All rental appointments have a two-hour minimum and your time is charged out in 30-minute increments after that.
What is included in the longarm rental fees?
Rental includes the use of solid colour longarm quilting thread.
For those using the computerised system, we have a growing number of patterns to choose from.
We are able to get specific patterns if required at a small cost
Other tools are available for your use.
I will always be available for support and any troubleshooting questions you may have.
What is not included in the longarm rental fees?
Wadding and backing are not included in the rental fees.
Backing fabric and wadding can be purchased from our shop.
If you require a computerised pattern that we need to purchase there is a fee.
